Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Athletes, Front Office, MLB, Rumors, Trades,
It's been a while, but EndScore Report is back! However, the question to ask is whether or not Jose Reyes will be back with the New York Mets, both after the MLB trade deadline or after the season. This edition was recorded on July 6th, but the content still holds strong, such as speaking on the possibilities of where Reyes will call home in the immediate and long-term future. For example, can he eventually replace Derek Jeter and take over as the shortstop for the New York Yankees? It's a hot topic among Mets fans since Reyes has been playing out of his mind thus far this season. LISTEN to what Chris has to say about the best player on his favorite team.

Christian Ehrhoff signs with Sabres for $40 million
Posted by Adrien Griffin Categories: Athletes, Front Office, NHL,
Friday saw a record number of NHL free agent signings, mainly because many teams are scrambling to get players just to reach the salary floor required of them. Money was thrown around relentlessly and new Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula was at the forefront of the spending. He held firm in his promise to build Buffalo back into a contending team as he signed former Vancouver Canucks blue-liner Christian Ehrhoff to a 10 year, $40 million contract.

Jim Riggleman’s reasons continue to intrigue
Posted by Adrien Griffin Categories: Athletes, Front Office, MLB, Rumors,
A managerial change in professional sports usually grabs headlines for a day or so before things return to normal, especially in-season. But the situation developing with former Washington Nationals manager Jim Riggleman walking out on his team after they won a game on Thursday night has continued to pique interests nationwide. Riggleman cites a lack of respect as baseball’s lowest-paid manager as one reason why he chose to relieve himself as the skipper and leave.

EndScore Report: In Your Face Wilpon and Russell Westbrook Naysayers
Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Athletes, Editorial, Front Office, MLB, NBA, Trades,
This week's "In Your Face" brings back idiotic New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon into the spotlight for his not understanding the concept of ownership and supporting the team you own. We also call out all of the Russell Westbrook haters that want the Oklahoma City Thunder to trade their 22-year-old, vastly improving, and dominating-type of point guard because of an assumption that he cannot co-exist with Kevin Durant. Ridiculous. LISTEN up!

EndScore Report: Fred Wilpon Is An Idiot
Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Editorial, Front Office, MLB, News,
In this edition of EndScore Report, DV and (mostly) Chris talk about New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon, who had some scathing remarks regarding his own players. His own players! Wilpon disses once thought of foundation players, Jose Reyes and David Wright, as well as Carlos Beltran. Way to go, Fred. Great way to devalue your players for any possible trades, as well as send a clear message to any free agents that the Mets ownership is a joke! Chris, the resident Mets fan, gets down with his bad self and DV just let's him do his thing. LISTEN UP!

EndScore Report: In Your Face Jorge Posada and David Kahn
Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Editorial, Front Office, NBA, News,
This week, we give an "In Your Face" to the New York Yankees' Jorge Posada for being unprofessional and whining. Also on the docket is the Minnesota Timberwolves' David Kahn for insinuating that the NBA fixes the NBA Draft Lottery for the big story. Maybe it's true, but what a wrong way to bring it up! Give this edition of "In Your Face" a LISTEN, why don't ya?

Glendale City Council votes to keep Phoenix Coyotes
Posted by Adrien Griffin Categories: Front Office, News, NHL,
It ain’t over yet. The Glendale City Council has voted in favor of paying the bills to keep the Phoenix Coyotes in Glendale, Arizona for yet another season. The Council’s 5-2 vote on Tuesday night means the city will pony up $25 million to the NHL that it pledged a year ago. That, by the way, is taxpayer money coming from citizens who have more than proven that for the most part, they are uninterested in the game on ice out in the desert.

EndScore Report: Buck Showalter calls out Derek Jeter and Theo Epstein
Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Front Office, MLB, News,
DV and Chris discuss the motives, background, and validity of Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter's statements about Derek Jeter and Theo Epstein. Naturally, Showalter would say something about AL East rival teams, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. When you consider that he's lost two jobs (Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks) because he would alienate his players and management, going after someone outside of the organization is a breath of fresh air. Does Showalter make good arguments? Hear what we have to say.
